Gary Lucy a popular british actor was born in Essex 27/11/81. Over the last 13 years Gary has been fortunate enough to star in some of the UK's leading shows. Cutting his teeth in sky1s Dream Team Gary hasn't looked back since.
Gary spent 3 years living in Liverpool playing a character called Luke Morgan in ch4s Hollyoaks and won best newcomer at the soap awards following a ground breaking storyline.
Returning to his roots (Essex) he then went on to play one of the lead roles in the colourful series Footballers wives. After three amazing seasons Gary then decided it was time for a new challenge and got the opportunity to play opposite one of his hero's Ray Winstone in the drama She's Gone.
Soon after Gary then joined the boys in blue in itvs The Bill and had 4 years of chasing bad guys around the streets of south london. In the autumn 2009 Gary said goodbye to the much loved cop show having felt it was time for the next chapter and appeared in a one off ITV drama Whatever it takes. Following this he landed a role working opposite Pauline Quirk in BBC's Missing.

In April 2002 Gary went to a charity auction for the aids foundation hosted by Dermot Oleary. At this event where guests including Gary openly admit the booze was flowing, which undoubtedly influenced Gary's decision purchase two of Madonna's rugs for a little over 6k. Gary says "ah Madonna's rugs, shame I thought I was bidding for Paul well well asned guitar ! . . . Oops "
In 2003 Gary attended another charity ball. The Grand Prix ball for Spina Bifida. It was at this event that Gary bought a once in a life time trip to the south of France on a private jet for a long weekend on Eddie Irvine's boat for him and 6 others. Which turned out to be where Gary and his now partner Natasha had there first date. Costing a little over 30k money well spent ? "yeah me and auctions, when will I learn ?! All for a great cause though. . Oh and a pretty good first date ! Ha ha"
Gary is now a proud patron of Haven House children's Hospice. The local hospice to where Gary is from and offers respite care for parents with children with Life limiting and Life threatening conditions. Gary appeared on it vs Family Fortunes with his Mum, Dad, Natasha and his hilarious Nan Lily. The Lucy family competed against Emma Griffith and her family and largely due to his Mums fantastic performance (she got all the top answers) and the Lucy's scooped the maximum of 30k for the Hospice. Gary says " what a fantastic day ! A big thank you to the Family Fortunes team who really looked after my family on the day and of course to my mum Queen of Family Fortunes."
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was next up for Gary on the hunt for charity money. He appeared with fellow Bill actor Andrew Lancel. Thankfully for Gary Andrew had done his homework. Gary recalls " Yeah it was very lucky i had him next to me, for both me and the charity" Between them they raised 50k which was halved and given to their respected charities. (Haven House)
Gary and Natasha competed against other celeb couples in the ITV show Mr and Mrs. They raised a total of 5k for Haven House. Gary says "We had a great time on Mr and Mrs even if I did get the answers right ! ha ha "
